About the Navigator
The Claremont School Board Meeting Navigator (CSBMN) is an experimental service of the Claremont Community Media Center (CCMC), which operates Claremont's public-access television channels and video-on-demand service. CSBMN gives each covered public meeting of the Claremont School Board and its Finance Committee a single page that brings together the meeting video, the agenda, the board's document packet, and, when the district posts them, the minutes.
Each meeting page lists who took part, reproduces the posted agenda, and follows the discussion topic by topic. Timestamps on the page link to that moment in the recording, so a summary can be checked against what was actually said. Discussion that appears to touch a requirement of state or federal law, such as a filing deadline, a notice rule, or an audit obligation, is flagged with a citation to the specific statute or regulation. An appendix on every page links the source documents.
The video comes from CCMC's video-on-demand service, which carries the district's meeting recordings. The documents come from the public Google Drive folders where the district posts its board packets and meeting minutes. No non-public material is used. Coverage begins with the Finance Committee meeting of June 19, 2026, and new meetings are added as they are processed.
AI does most of the assembly: transcribing the recording, matching voices to named speakers, summarizing the discussion, and flagging items that may deserve review. It makes mistakes, such as a misheard name or a remark credited to the wrong speaker, which is why every page — this one included — carries the standing notice printed at its foot. These pages are a finding aid, not a record. The district's approved minutes, posted at sau6.org and in the Drive folders above, are the official account of any meeting. Before relying on anything here, follow the timestamp or the document link and confirm it at the source.
New Hampshire's Right-to-Know Law (RSA 91-A) makes these meetings and records public. Public is not the same as convenient: a meeting recording can take a full evening to watch, and the documents behind it sit in folders most residents never open. CSBMN tries to shorten the distance between a resident's question and the moment in the meeting that answers it.
