About Our Center
Founded in 1999 The Claremont Community Media Center – previously Claremont Community Television runs the Claremont New Hampshire area local access television and multimedia education. We are located at Sugar River Technical Center also known as “The Tech”. Through personal and corporate membership we provide video and broadcast equipment, editing assistance and education (using Adobe Premiere) and other media education for Claremont and the surrounding area.

Why a Media Center? Local Access television is more than just television today. In this day and age of multimedia, youtube, ticktock, facebook live, and all sorts of streaming services, the way we consume our media is no longer just on the TV anymore. Local access television needs to change to adjust to this new reality.
As a result we are changing our name in 2022 to be the Claremont Community Media Center. We will still focus on providing PEG television for our local area, but are expanding our educational mission to assist in teaching not just broadcast, but all video mediums including animation, 3D animation, special fx, audio, lighting, as well as writing for video.
